Billing and coding
Medical billing, medical coding, claim scrubbing, prior authorization, and submission. CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS done by AAPC-certified coders who read the chart, not just the encounter form.
We partner with practices that are tired of leaving money on the table and tired of billing eating their clinicians' attention. Cleaner claims. Faster payments. Documentation that holds up.
Figures reflect aggregate performance across our client book. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Methodology available on request.

Denial management, AR follow-up, payer appeals, workers' compensation billing. We pursue every dollar your practice is owed, then tell you why it was denied so the next claim is cleaner.
Credentialing and payer enrollment, MIPS and QPP reporting support, and compliance audit response. The unglamorous work that keeps a practice in network and out of trouble.
Patient billing support, payment posting, statement design, and a real human at the IVR. Your patients call us and feel like they called your office.
We sit with your front desk, your clinicians, and your finance lead. We learn how claims actually move through your practice, not how the manual says they should.
A targeted audit of 60 to 90 days of claims. We find the denial patterns, the coding misses, and the leakage. You see numbers before you sign anything.
We run claim creation, scrubbing, submission, payment posting, denials, and AR as a managed service. Your team gets back to patients. We tell you what we did each week.
Monthly dashboards that show what was billed, what was paid, what was denied, and why. We sit with your finance lead quarterly. No black boxes.
Two decades of clinical physical therapy in Philadelphia. The doctor who tells other doctors how documentation actually works.
Zoya brings the clinical authority to OpenDesq. She practiced as a Doctor of Physical Therapy at General Medical and Rehab Associates in Philadelphia for more than twenty years before turning her attention to the business side of medicine. She holds Pennsylvania PT license PT-017122 and a Direct Access Authorization (DAPT-001360). Her mission at OpenDesq is the same one that anchored her clinical years: write documentation that protects the clinician, get paid for it, and free up the hours that practices lose to administrative friction.
“If a chart note is good enough to defend in an audit, it's good enough to bill. Most denial cycles are documentation cycles in disguise.”
Founded OpenDesq in 2016 and grew it from a single-client side practice to a full-service medical-billing firm.
Amer holds an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and brings two decades of operating discipline from outside healthcare. He runs the service-delivery side of OpenDesq: the coder roster, the technology stack, the daily claim cycle, and the partnerships with AdvancedMD, Office Ally, Tebra, and PatientPop that move work from chart to payment.
We bill across the full ambulatory and procedural footprint. Every specialty below is staffed by coders trained on that specialty's codes, not by generalists.
A conversation takes thirty minutes. We will tell you, in plain English, where the money is leaking and how long it would take to stop the leak.
